Why sheep matter at Two Suns

Our land in Devon is shared - one acre of tea, surrounded by fields where sheep graze year-round. This balance isn’t accidental. The sheep help keep the land healthy, naturally managing the grass and enriching the soil around the tea plants.

Their wool, once sheared, finds its way back into the process in quieter ways. Used as insulation, ground cover, or protective layers around young plants, it helps regulate temperature and retain moisture — especially during colder months. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is wasted.

This relationship reminds us that tea is not just a crop. It’s part of a living system, shaped by animals, seasons, and care taken over time.
